There will be very little number crunching on the exam

so be prepared to manipulate equations and simple arithmetic

without a calculator

To design your own practice midterm, pick one

exercise from the book (or discussion)

representing each of the topics I suggested.

You can pick exercises with numbers

in them, but, again, be prepared to manipulate equations

The real exam will probably combine multiple concepts

into single problems.

While the pre-lab for “the works” in all its glory would

be too hard to put on a midterm, if you can do it,

you are in good shape
