You must understand how to construct force diagrams!
Virtually every problem I put on the exam
will require a force diagram
There will be no air resistance problems
There will be no explicit vector problems,
dot products, or cross products
However, it will be assumed that you have mastered
adding vectors and taking components for the
purposes of solving problems
You will be expected to have memorized and understood
the kinematic equations for constant acceleration from chapter 2
(eqns 2-8, 2-12, 2-13, and 2-14) and be able to apply them
