This is a place to organize information I normally use. This means mainly talks that I've given (with links to the ppt files for most), software I'm working on, and web pages I maintain. This is kept in The Study, or "El Estudio".

Research Interests. I am interested in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions. The image on the right is part of what I am working on: a trigger for events with 2 electrons in the STAR experiment. The display of the Barrel Electro-Magnetic Calorimeter shows two areas where there was a large signal detected (red bar histograms), with a large angle between them: a signature for a candidate di-electron event. Click on the link or on the image for a page discussing my activities in STAR . It is aimed for graduate students and any other interested parties (for example, if you're curious about why di-electron events in heavy-ion collisions are interesting).
