Character Information

Production Company:

Paine Productions

Show:

Discreet Disclosure

Executive Producer:

Salvador Paine

Main Production Staff:

[with primary duties noted]

Editor in Chief:

Mitchell Terry [Rob]: Hard headed and often offensive, this new hire is well known as being amongst the top video editors in the business. Was the clear choice from amongst other excellent options on the short list.

Director of Marketing:

Martin "Marty" Fitch [John]: This new Director of Marketing is friendly and attractive, often demonstrating his impeccable taste for fashion and culinary delights. His focus is primarily on developing the right sponsor base and on maintaining the outward image of the show.

Head Writer:

[Paul]: This edgy but fun-loving new writer shows termendous creative potential. Though his strong style is somewhat unfocused and scattered, this is expected to add an interesting twist to the previously dull and routine formulaic styles of previous head writers.

Other Staff:

Jack Meter (Director): This former NYC cop (not his most recent job) is a new hire who has a reputation for getting things done. Not known for his creative brilliance, he can be given a complex logistical task and make it happen with few questions asked.

Phyllis VonBlitz (Personnel): Phyllis is an old timer who knows everything about everyone. Though known as a busybody, she is reasonably harmless, pleasant, and personable. She is one of the few people associated with the show who have actually met Sal Paine.

Jane Cabibbo (Business Management): This new hire has come right out of a nasty lawsuit with her former employer Bank of America. She seems rather hot-headed but very well qualified to oversee the various business departments of the show (with the excpetion of, because of the special creative nature of the show, marketing).

Echo Martinez (Staff Support Manager): Echo is a recent college graduate who tends to be as cynical about life as her drab, black clothing might indicate. Having majored in art history and having a resume which consisted entirely of coffee house jobs, she regards herself as slightly overqualified for the position of staff support manager. The tattoo on her left arm exclaiming "Suck Me" pretty much says it all. However, the coffee has never tasted better.

Current Anchors (subject to change):

Don Burns: This dull-witted but handsome individual has an ego as big as his...feet. Can deliver teleprompted lines like no one's business, but balks at improvisation. Most regard him as a dead-weight irritant.

Laura Burbanks: Pretty but bubble-brained, most of Laura's body has been aritifically enhanced through various miracles of modern medicine. Like Don, she can deliver teleprompted lines like no one's business, but balks at improvisation. She tends to be snooty.

Star Reporters (subject to change):

Barbie Vu
Darla Peterson
Sammy Drake
Robert "Jumbo" Dreikocher
