Kinetic energy is also related to forces
through a concept called Work
Work is basically a measure of mechanical energy
and is just a force acting over a some distance (e.g. s)
A force acting over a distance (notice the dot product)
will also produce a change of kinetic energy over
that distance (i.e. change in speed)
This is very powerful when dealing with non-constant forces
