All interactions and motion of any kind
are ultimately linked to the four basic forces of nature:
Gravity, Electricity/Magnetism (EM), Strong Nuclear, and
A force is a vector and is basically a “push” or a “pull”
It is strange to think that everything is governed
by only four fundamental forces and that it
ultimately reduces to a complex network of pushes and pulls
A major goal of physics is to understand the fundamental
forces of nature and to unify them into a single force
(we also look for new forces, but haven’t found any yet)
