Pay close attention to the examples in this chapter.

Read the “problem-solving strategy” on p. 44

for insight

Know how to read and understand x-t, v-t, and a-t graphs

(how to get v and a from and x-t graph,

how to get v from an a-t graph, etc.)

Know all the calculus relations between x, v, and a

Memorize the equations I mentioned.

Understand where they came from, what they mean,

and how to use them.

While section 2-5 introduces these equations, don’t worry

about their method of deriving them. Pay more attention

to section 2-7 for more insight
