Now let’s do some physics!

We’ll talk about chapter 1: units and vectors

We will use metric units using the “SI” (International System) standard

Look over chapter 1 and appendices E and F

if you are not familiar with the

metric system, scientific notation, or SI units

SI just means that length is measured in meters, mass in kilograms,

and time in seconds. All other units are measured against this standard

(there are some more obscure exceptions).

You should know the prefixes “tera”, “giga”, “mega”,

“kilo”, “centi”, “milli”, “micro”, “nano”, “pico”, and “femto”
