Identified charged particle spectra of π±, K±, p and
p measured using energy loss in the
STAR TPC are reported for (|y|<0.1) for Cu+Cu collisions at √(SNN
) = 22.4 GeV. Total particle production, particle ratios, and average transverse momenta,
are presented for different collision centralities.
Kinetic and chemical freezeout properties are presented as a function of the number of participating
nucleons for the system. These results are compared with previously published results from collisions
of different systems (Pb+Pb or Au+Au) at similar collision energies.
[Note: Analysis ongoing]
The Cu+Cu 22 GeV Dataset was taken during run 5 and was the second running at the AGS injection energy
(AuAu 19.6 GeV in run 2 was the first). It was taken from
Mar-22 through the 24th.
