Conclusions:

main dead area: 

-0.4<eta<-0.2 && -1.75<phi<-2.3

0.4<eta<0.6 && 1.9<phi<-2.3

-0.4<eta<-0.2 && 1.45<phi<1.9

hot area:

|eta|>0.9

 

This can roughly explain the shape of  eta distribution of matched tracks

 

 

Upsilon Signals

cuts: |vz|<30cm && |eta|<1 && |nFitPoints|>=23 && dEdx cut for eID

like-sign BG calculation:  BG = 2 * sqrt(++  *  --)

|eta|<1     Integral(7,11)=129

cuts: |vz|<30cm && |eta|<1 && |nFitPoints|>=23 && dEdx cut for eID

like-sign BG calculation:  BG = 2 * sqrt(++  *  --)

|eta|<0.8     Integral(7,11)=86      (consistency check:   129*0.8^2=83)
