Abstract

The data from the EOS TPC in AGS experiment E895 have been used to study the $m_t$ and $E_k$ spectra of light charged particles ($\pi^-$, $\pi^+$, p, d, t, and $He^3$) at mid-rapidity for the Au+Au system at 2, 4, 6, and 8 AGeV. These spectra are fit to extract temperatures and radial flow velocities which will be compared to models and to other experimental results. Fits to the indivual spectra will be compared to simultaneous fits of multiple particle species which allows one to test the degree of equilibration. The $\pi^+/\pi^-$ ratio at low $m_t$ is used to determine the effective coulomb potential experienced by the pions. This can be used to characterize the effective source size or charge.
