TEXT: Classical Electrodynamics, 3rd edition John David Jackson. This quarter we will cover chapters 1 through 8, and 10.

HOMEWORK: Homework should be turned in directly to either Norm's or Daniel's box. Students are encouraged to discuss the problems with other students in the class, however directly copying solutions is not acceptable. Use of solution sets, either published or copied from previous years, is not acceptable.

MIDTERM EXAM: Wednesday Feb 16th. The exams are closed book and closed note. All work should be shown explicitly - credit will not be given for the final answer alone.

FINAL EXAM: Thursday 17-Mar-05 10:30 to 1:30 AM. Room P/G 416

GRADE DETERMINATION: 25% Homework, 25% Midterm, 50% Final Exam
