Random Cluster Subtraction

Random Clusters (multi-hadron clusters with > 1 track in the cluster) - 0.8 < R < 0.845.

R is defined between the multi-hadron trigger and associated tracks. &Delta&phi is defined between the multi-hadron trigger from one event and associated tracks from other events.


dN/d&Delta&phi per trigger vs. &Delta&phi - minimum secondary seed - 2.0 GeV

The panels show dN/d&Delta&phi per trigger for different jet pT ranges:
Left: 8 GeV < pT < 10 GeV
Middle: 10 GeV < pT < 12 GeV
Right: 12 GeV < pT < 15 GeV
Each plot shows dN/d&Delta&phi per trigger for 1 GeV cuts in pT associated. Within each panel, the pT associated runs from 3 to 4 GeV, 4 to 5 GeV .... 10 to 11 GeV.
