The problem can be corrected with a matrix generated from the geant simulation. When the correction matrix operates on the data that was used to generate it, the exact delta funtions can be returned. If only a portion of the data is used, the result is different as shown below.
The conditons used below are, 6gev data, 1gev by 1gev correction matrix, and the delta functions are made from the data used to construct the correction matrix.
